Tyson brings nearly 20 years of experience in sales, training and consulting to his role as an instructor and executive coach.
He provides expertise in professional image, corporate etiquette, international business protocol and cross-cultural communication. A graduate of the Protocol School of Washington, Tyson also is certified as a Corporate Etiquette and International Protocol consultant.
His career includes roles in business development, sales training and consulting in the advertising, pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. He spent two phases of his career with Watson Pharmaceuticals and Mölnlycke Health Care. There, he helped launch a new sales and marketing division in the athletic training arena. He managed business development and presented product training for the athletic medical staff.
Tyson also worked with OmniGuide, a surgical technology start-up company. He was responsible for the commercial market launch of a new surgical technology, and his experience training surgeons in the operating room provides a unique perspective on effective communication to the classroom.
He is an active volunteer in the community with Special Olympics and regularly speaks to community and professional groups. He is involved with the Association for Talent Development and enjoys devoting time to help young professional groups.
Tyson is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa.
