Doug Seaberg – Vice President, Kansas & Missouri

Doug Seaberg serves as Vice President of Sales for Kansas and Missouri at Dardis Communications.  He brings with him 20+ years of management, sales, and marketing experience with a proven track record of business development and presentation expertise.

Doug joined Dardis Communications from LeaderOne Financial Corporation in Kansas City where he was the retail manager for its Overland Park corporate office.  Having begun his career at Norwest Financial Leasing in 1991, Doug transitioned from commercial finance to consumer finance when he managed Norwest Financial offices in Wichita, KS, as well as St. Joseph and Independence, MO.  He quickly rose through the ranks to win the coveted Regional Star Performer award in 2000.

In 2002, Doug opened and ran Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Wichita until he was promoted to manage a joint venture between Wells Fargo Overland Park and Reece & Nichols Realty (a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate). As a company leader, he grew the sales team and developed a nationally recognized customer referral program.

Doug returned to Wells Fargo Mortgage in 2008 where his role involved recruiting, training, personal production, and business development.  Doug’s thorough knowledge of FHA lending and knack for relationship and consultative sales led him to become a subject matter expert–where he was sought out by other originators within the sales region.

Doug joined LeaderOne Financial in 2010 to develop its retail sales platform, grow the reverse mortgage program, and assist in converting LeaderOne into a direct reverse mortgage lender. Doug served as a reverse mortgage subject matter expert, and his talent for public speaking landed him as a guest on several radio shows.  Personally producing loans with expert customer service, Doug’s satisfied customers helped him grow his business through referrals and word-of-mouth.

Doug’s extensive experience in business leadership and sales, coupled with his talents as a coach and presenter, complement the Dardis Communications’ service portfolio to best meet clients’ needs in the areas of professional image, consultative selling, and personal coaching.

Doug is active in his community and school district by working as a boy scout youth camp volunteer and assisting in various pack and den functions.  Doug also coaches youth soccer and serves as a field coach.  Doug has been a member of Midian Shrine in Wichita, Kansas for 15 years.

An Iowa native, Doug is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BBA in Marketing and a minor in Political Science. Doug and his wife Tricia (TJ) live in Overland Park, Kansas, where they are raising their three sons:  Sajon, Jasper, and Mason.
